Warranty and support

Warranty and Service Policy.

Warranty coverage depends on the product, quote, manufacturer, and service arrangement. This page explains how Macroscopic Solutions generally handles warranty and service questions.

Applicable warranty documents

The warranty period and coverage for a product or configured system may be stated in the written quote, invoice, manufacturer documentation, or software license. Those specific documents control over general website language.

Third-party equipment is generally covered by the manufacturer warranty rather than by Macroscopic Solutions directly. Macroscopic Solutions may help route reasonable warranty questions to the appropriate manufacturer or distributor.

Macroscopic Solutions assemblies

Macroscopic Solutions may provide support for workmanship, configuration, setup, training, and integration questions related to Macroscopic Solutions assemblies and systems.

Warranty coverage does not generally include misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, improper storage, shipping damage, improper voltage, contamination, customer-supplied parts, routine wear, consumables, or application results that depend on sample preparation and capture conditions.

Service process

Contact Macroscopic Solutions before returning any product or component. Returned items may require written authorization, diagnostic notes, photos, serial numbers, original packaging, and safe packing instructions.

Service work, replacement parts, remote support, on-site support, recalibration, training, or repair outside warranty coverage may be quoted separately.

No guarantee of research outcome

Macroscopic Solutions systems can support high-resolution imaging, focus stacking, photogrammetry, measurement, and documentation workflows, but research outcomes, measurement conclusions, legal compliance, publication acceptance, and sample-specific results remain the customer responsibility.

Policy note

These website policies are intended to make purchasing and site use easier to understand. Final written quotes, invoices, manufacturer warranty terms, and software license agreements may include more specific terms.
