Quotes, product information, and pricing

Many Macroscopic Solutions systems are quote-reviewed because they may require configuration, freight review, institutional purchasing details, training, or application-specific recommendations.

Website prices, images, availability, specifications, descriptions, and bundled components may be corrected or updated without notice. A written quote or invoice is the controlling purchasing document for configured systems.

Orders, payment, taxes, and purchase orders

Orders may require payment approval, purchase-order review, tax-exemption documentation, export review, software-license verification, or freight confirmation before fulfillment.

Customers are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, brokerage charges, import fees, and institutional purchasing requirements unless a written agreement says otherwise.

Payment processors, card networks, and commerce platforms may not return transaction fees to Macroscopic Solutions when an order is refunded. When a customer cancels or returns an order after payment has been processed, approved refunds may be reduced by the non-recoverable payment processing, transaction, or platform fees charged on the original payment.

Configured systems, custom work, and cancellations

Configured systems, custom assemblies, special-order equipment, training, imaging services, and project-specific deliverables may not be cancellable or returnable once work has begun, parts have been ordered, or software has been delivered.

If a written quote includes milestone payments, lead times, acceptance steps, or customer-supplied materials, those written terms govern the order.

Software and third-party products

Software products, including Agisoft Metashape licenses, are subject to the software publisher license terms, eligibility requirements, cancellation restrictions, and delivery process.

Third-party products such as Canon, Mitutoyo, Agisoft, Cognisys, StackShot, or other manufacturer items remain subject to the applicable manufacturer documentation, software license, and warranty terms.

Limitation of website reliance

Website materials are provided for product selection, education, and customer support. They are not a substitute for written engineering review, safety procedures, legal advice, medical advice, or application-specific validation.
