EOS M products are shown only where they are still relevant to existing systems or accessory compatibility. For most new scientific capture builds, Macroscopic Solutions will usually steer customers toward EOS R bodies instead.

New builds
For new Macropod and research systems, EOS R is generally the stronger current platform.

EOS R is the preferred current platform for new Macropod and research imaging builds. DSLR and EOS M bodies remain useful for labs maintaining older EF or compact mirrorless workflows, while PowerShot cameras are best treated as documentation and field-reference tools.
