Canon camera selection guide

Choose Canon cameras by EOS R, DSLR, PowerShot, or legacy EOS M.

EOS R is the preferred current platform for new Macropod and research imaging builds. DSLR and EOS M bodies remain useful for labs maintaining older EF or compact mirrorless workflows, while PowerShot cameras are best treated as documentation and field-reference tools.
