    Staff-authored common question
This generalized question is based on recurring support conversations. It is not a customer quotation, and identifying details have been removed.

What setup sequence gives a laboratory the best chance of producing a clean first Macropod image set?

    Macroscopic Solutions Support answer
This staff-authored guidance is generalized. Project-specific and private details should be handled through direct support.

Start on a stable surface, secure the stage and specimen, mount the camera and optics squarely, position the diffused flashes, connect power and tethering, and use manual exposure and focus. Make a short test stack before committing to a long capture so framing, flash recycle, movement, and file delivery can be confirmed together.
